Announcement: Spaces for Change joins the Global NPO Coalition on the FATF as new co-chair

The Global NPO Coalition on FATF is delighted to welcome Spaces for Change as its new co-chair, joining Human Security Collective and Charity & Security Network.

Based in Nigeria, Spaces for Change has been actively engaged in the Coalition’s work for over a decade, contributing valuable expertise, research and advocacy on the impact of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing measures on civil society and civic space.

Spaces for Change brings strong technical knowledge, wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to protecting human rights and civic freedoms.

Spaces for Change (S4C) is a non-profit organization working to infuse human rights into social and economic governance processes in Nigeria, and across West Africa.

Through digital crowd-sourcing, research, policy analysis, advocacy, youth engagement, public interest litigation and community action, they aim to increase the participation of Nigerian youth, women and communities in the development of social and economic policy, and also help public authorities and corporate entities to put a human rights approach at the heart of their decision-making.
