Coalition meets with FATF President

On Friday, October 11th, representatives from the Global NPO Coalition on FATF met with FATF President Elisa de Anda Madrazo and the Secretariat team in Paris. The meeting focused on crucial topics affecting the nonprofit sector, including collaboration on the development of a training module for Recommendation 8, potential humanitarian exemptions under Recommendations 5 and 6 in line with UN Security Council Resolution 2664, and strategies for promoting financial inclusion.

Discussions also covered the significant impacts of greylisting on the nonprofit sector, the need for effective oversight models, and strengthening the role of FATF-Style Regional Bodies (FSRBs) members in FATF decision-making processes.

The Coalition greatly appreciates the continued engagement and constructive dialogue with FATF leadership.
